Moomigle is a personal AI memory. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the rights you have over it. It applies to the Moomigle website (www.moomigle.com) and the Moomigle mobile and web application.
Who we are
The service is operated by Mingenta LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (the "Service", "we", "us"). For any privacy question, deletion request, or data access request, write to hello@moomigle.com.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address and an encrypted password (or your OAuth provider identifier).
- Your memories: anything you save — text notes, photos, voice recordings, files, links — plus optional metadata (location, timestamps) that you choose to attach.
- AI-generated content: automatic transcripts of voice memos, short descriptions of your photos, and answers we generate when you ask questions. These are stored alongside the memory they belong to.
- Technical data: minimal analytics about visits and errors (page views, device type, approximate country) to keep the service running and improve it.
How we use it
- To provide the core service: storing, retrieving and searching your memories.
- To generate AI features you request — transcription, image descriptions, and conversational answers grounded in your own memories.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and diagnose bugs.
- To send you essential service emails (account confirmation, password reset). We do not send marketing emails without your explicit opt-in.
We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use the contents of your memories to train third-party AI models.
Where your data lives
Your account and memories are stored on managed cloud infrastructure (Supabase, hosted in the European Union). Files (photos, audio, documents) are stored in a private storage bucket that only you can access. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.
AI processing (transcription, image understanding, answering) is performed via the Lovable AI Gateway, which routes requests to model providers including Google. Requests are used to generate your response and are not retained by us for training. See the respective providers' privacy terms for their own retention and processing details.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have rights under laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK), CCPA/CPRA (California), UAE PDPL, and similar regulations. Regardless of jurisdiction, Moomigle offers every user the following rights:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Deletion — delete individual memories at any time from inside the app, or request full account deletion by writing to hello@moomigle.com. We will erase your account and all associated memories within 30 days.
- Correction — edit or replace any memory you've saved.
- Portability — request an export of your memories in a machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent — stop using the service at any time.
Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete a memory, it is removed immediately from our database and from storage. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently erased within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain limited records (e.g. tax or fraud prevention).
Children
Moomigle is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Cookies
We use only strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Changes to this policy
When we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top and, where required, notify you by email.
